The temperatures are rising in London this week and the much-anticipated heat wave is well and truly underway - a real British summer time, I hear you cry in disbelief?

Before we all start moaning it's too hot, too sticky, too downright glorious, it seems only fitting to take the party outdoors and soak up the sunshine whilst it lasts. Celebrate the summer in style with a boat trip down the River Thames, sipping on some champagne and chatting with friends whilst seeing the city bathed in glorious rays of sunlight.

It wouldn't be a true British summertime without just a little bit of precipitation, though with temperatures close to thirty degrees it will come as a welcome relief to those of us unaccustomed to the heat and sleeping next to the drone of miniature fans.
