Case Study - Amanda Elson Wedding Reception

The brief

The client wanted us to create a sublime wedding reception for Amanda and Paul, which would take place after their ceremony earlier on the same day.

The reception would welcome Amanda, Paul, and their friends and family.

What we did

We presented the client with a package that included some reception drinks, a BBQ, photographer, and a live DJ. We also offered to provide full wedding decor, that included draping, chair sashes, and a ‘Mr & Mrs corner’ to create the elegant wedding atmosphere the client was after. When it came to entertaining their guests, we put forward a casino table, which they loved.

The couple loved the package we put forward and wanted to view the boat that we would provide on the day.

After showing the client the boat, they met with our senior event planner, Eliza, who discussed the details of the wedding and what we were offering. They booked the event with us soon after this meeting.

We offered the client a food tasting and afterwards, they decided to upgrade to a full seated dinner. We also arranged for a personalised private red bus transfer to take them from their ceremony venue direct to the reception.

Our team also arranged for our photographer to stay with the client for the event to capture both their ceremony and the reception.

The result

The bride and groom were both delighted with how their day went, and were delighted with the staff on the day, that included Eliza, Ellie, Phoebe, Elijah, and Katherine (Pier Coordinator).
The weather on the day was fantastic, so all of the guests were able to enjoy the amazing views from the top deck, whilst also making use of the indoor floors and the dancefloor later on in the evening.

The guests enjoyed the food and the service was perfectly smooth. We also scheduled the food very well, allowing each member of the wedding party to give a speech in between courses.

Overall this was a very successful event!
