Case Study - Arthur & Martha Wedding Reception

The brief

The client asked us to create a wedding reception for Arthur and Martha. The reception would host their friends and family who were coming in from abroad. The event would take place after the wedding ceremony that was held in Tower Hill.

What we did

After initial discussions with our Client Relationship Team, the event was handed to our Planning Team, which is headed up by our Senior Event Planner Eliza. The Event Planning Team brought their vision to life, creating mood boards and a colour palette along with suggested decor.

The final package we put together included a ‘Mr and Mrs’ luxury lounge corner, chair sashes, floral garlands, backdrop draping, and votive lanterns. We also included a mix of floral centerpieces for the tables which included their preferred colours of pastel yellows, blues, and whites. This all combined to create a summery but elegant feel to their event.

Once we put the package together, we organised food tastings and viewings for the client, and the couple was even able to practice their first dance on the top deck of their chosen vessel.

Before the big day, our graphic design team also created bespoke table numbers and menus to incorporate their chosen colour palette.

We were also told that there were children attending, so our event planning team created a set of personalised gift packs to be left on their seats to help keep them entertained throughout the reception.

The result

On the big day our staff included Eliza (Senior Event Planner), Ellie (Event Manager), Elijah (Head Catering Assistant and Pier Coordinator), and Erica (Catering Assistant).

The wedding reception went extremely smoothly on the day and everyone had a great time, including the families who flew in from both Mexico and France - some of whom were seeing London for the first time!
