Case Study - Auctane Summer Event

The brief

Auctane approached us to host a summer event for their London office and their US marketing team, who were visiting.

They asked us to create a relaxed, informal environment that would encourage guests to mingle, connect, and enjoy time together on the river.

What we did

After initial communications with our Client Relationship Team, led by Elizabeth, Eliza (Senior Event Planner) took over the event.

We created a bespoke package tailored to the client’s requirements, focusing on a shorter cruise to promote a social, informal atmosphere. The package included substantial canapés, garden games, and a personalised playlist to suit the group.

The client wanted to incorporate a fun element into the event, so they introduced a nautical theme, bringing hats and props that added a playful touch and were well received by guests.

We also ensured that all guests were catered for. As some attendees did not drink alcohol, we adapted the arrival drinks by offering Shirley Temples as an alternative to Pimm’s, ensuring everyone felt included from the outset. The catering was also adjusted to accommodate all dietary requirements.

The result

The staff present on the day were Phoebe (Event Manager), Max (Event Coordinator), Paris and Albertino (Catering Assistants).

The event ran smoothly and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for both the London and US teams. Guests were able to connect and unwind, making the most of the informal setting and entertainment provided.

The client was very happy with the outcome and the overall experience.
