Case Study - Datalec Precision Installations Christmas Event

The brief

The client contacted us and asked if we would arrange another Christmas event for them after successfully doing so in the past. We jumped at the chance to work with them again!

What we did

Firstly, Sapphire, our Client Relationship Manager, met the client in person to discuss their package. They let us know that they wanted to go ahead with another river cruise for their Christmas social.

We have previously hosted a three-course seated dinner for their team, but this time, the client wanted something a little different whilst still keeping the meal substantial. So we put forward a hot fork buffet, which worked incredibly well on the day. This food was added as part of their package, which also included Christmas-themed decor, Christmas crackers, a mulled wine and Prosecco reception, our unlimited drinks package, and even a live DJ!

The event was then handed over to our Event Planning Team, which is headed up by Eliza. It was Eliza who had previously arranged their event in 2023.

The client informed Eliza that they also wanted to include entertainment that would help spark competition among the team, so we put forward a selection box of festive games, which included Dobble, a reindeer stacking game, charades, and festive trivia.

The result

The team on the day were Eliza (Senior Event Planner), Phoebe (Event Coordinator), and Elizabeth (Pier Coordinator). The event was a true success, with the client coming away extremely pleased with how their Christmas party went! The guests particularly enjoyed the DJ and the festive games.
