Case Study - Leyland Company 40th Anniversary Event

The brief

Leyland approached us to arrange an event for their top customers to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary.

The event needed to feel both celebratory and client-focused, providing an opportunity to thank their customers for their continued support while marking this important milestone in the company’s history.

What we did

Following a quick turnaround within our Client Relationship Team, the enquiry was picked up by Elizabeth (Client Relationship Coordinator). Once the package was confirmed, the event was handed over to our Event Planning Team, headed up by Eliza (Senior Event Planner).

The initial package included a beer-and-Prosecco reception, a summer barbecue, interactive team games, summer décor, and company anniversary décor, including balloons and bunting to mark their 40th anniversary.

After further discussions with their Event Planner, we explored additional branding opportunities, as the client was keen to make a strong visual impact on the board. Following this call, they enhanced their package significantly, adding a branded roll-up backdrop banner, three vessel flags, bespoke logo bunting, edible Prosecco toppers, and a number of branded features, including balloon clusters, cushions, vinyl banners, and a two-tier cake.

Our team also incorporated more subtle branding touches throughout the event. This included matching the floral arrangements to their company colours, as well as printing branded menus and food labels to ensure consistency across every detail.

As this was such a special occasion, the client wanted to elevate the entertainment on board. We suggested a steel band, which worked perfectly for a summer celebration and created a vibrant atmosphere for their guests.

The result

The staff present on the day were Ellie (Event Manager), Phoebe (Assistant Event Manager), Rebekah (Catering Assistant), Elijah (Catering Assistant), and Jethro (Catering Assistant).

The event ran very smoothly and successfully combined client appreciation with a memorable 40th anniversary celebration. The branding elements made a strong impact, the entertainment was well received, and the overall atmosphere reflected the importance of the milestone.
