Case Study - Resonant Group Christmas Event

The brief

Resonant Group approached us to host a Christmas event for their internal staff. This would be their first event on the River Thames, and they wanted to create a memorable festive celebration.

The event also needed to incorporate an awards ceremony, making it both a social and recognition-focused occasion.

What we did

Initial communications were handled by Elizabeth (Client Relationship Coordinator) before being passed over to Eliza (Senior Event Planner).

The client wanted to include traditional Christmas elements, so they opted for a three-course seated dinner to create a formal and festive atmosphere.

Since they were hosting an awards ceremony, we structured the schedule to ensure smooth food service and set aside dedicated time to celebrate their team. We also ensured that all necessary equipment for the awards and presentations was available and properly set up.

To enhance the overall experience and encourage interaction, we included a selection of festive games, which guests enjoyed playing at their tables following the dinner service.

The result

The staff present on the day were Eliza (Senior Event Planner), Phoebe (Assistant Event Manager), and Paris, Trisha, Denilson and Barnabas (Catering Assistants).

The event ran very smoothly and successfully combined a festive celebration with a well-executed awards ceremony. Guests enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and entertainment throughout the evening.
