Case Study - Rothmans Chartered Accountants Christmas Event & 70th Anniversary

The brief

Rothmans Chartered Accountants approached us to create a Christmas event that would also celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary. The event would bring together colleagues from all of their offices across the country, creating an opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone as one unified team.

They wanted the evening to feel festive while also recognising the importance of their company anniversary.

What we did

After initial discussions with our Client Relationship Team, led by Elizabeth (Client Relationship Coordinator) for this event, the client booked a package that included our street food menu, a photographer, and Christmas décor. To commemorate their 70th anniversary, we also added a large ‘70’ balloon and branded bunting.

The event was then handed over to our Event Planning Team, headed up by Eliza (Senior Event Planner), and the finer details were discussed with the client.

During a video call, we explored suitable pier options and discussed specific photographs the client wanted to capture, ensuring they would have strong visual content to showcase their 70th anniversary celebrations. We also arranged for the balloon and bunting to be styled in gold and lime green to match their company colours, adding a cohesive branded touch to the festive décor.

We carefully put together a schedule to ensure the event flowed seamlessly. This included designated time for the partners to deliver speeches and to thank key members of the team, as well as time for a full-group photograph on the top deck.

As guests were travelling by coach, we arranged for our Pier Coordinator to meet them at the drop-off point to ensure a smooth, stress-free arrival.

The result

The staff present on the day were Ellie (Event Manager), Max (Event Coordinator), Reggie (Pier Coordinator), Paris (Catering Assistant), and Bhavesh (Catering Assistant).

The event ran extremely smoothly and successfully brought together colleagues from across the country to celebrate both Christmas and the company’s 70th anniversary. The food and drinks were very well received, and the atmosphere throughout the evening was celebratory and festive.
