As the weather brightens and the temperature rises to those long-awaited twenties figures, we have decided that it is the perfect time to celebrate the beginning of summer. Coinciding with the start of summer daylight savings, the promise of sunshine has had us looking forward to the warmer months and arguably the best time of the year to see the River Thames.

This weekend at West End on the Thames we are launching a Twitter competition to find the best photos of the Thames - the more creative the better! Wherever you may be along the river over the next few days we want to see your images of the Thames with all the pretentious filters and arty angles you can muster.

All you need is a phone and a Twitter account, and you could be in with the chance to win three tickets to attend one of our amazing Thames summer boat parties on Saturday 7th June. If you'd like to get involved with our snap-happy competition then all you have to do is tweet us @WEontheThames with your photo accompanied by the hash tag #welovetheThames. The winner will be picked on Wednesday 2nd April by our team of dedicated photography enthusiasts (we like to dabble in a selfie or two from time to time) and will be contacted via Twitter.
