Events Sector - Reopening date of June 21st

The recent government announcement has given the hospitality industry a date to work towards - June 21st. This is the day which has been earmarked for when all legal limits on social contact are likely to be removed.

Of course, progress with the vaccination programme and falling infection rates and hospitalisation numbers need to continue for this to happen. But we can now be confident that summer events will go ahead this year - which is great news.

We can't wait to see our clients back out on the Thames again and this "roadmap" provides light at the end of the tunnel for all of us, after what has been an extremely difficult period.

What we do know is demand is expected to be very high for both wedding receptions and corporate events on one of our boats. With these having to be put on hold in 2020, many that were postponed can now finally happen. Coupled with new bookings as we are reunited after such a long time apart.

We're here to help make sure this is a summer to remember, but we would recommend making your enquiry as soon as possible so we can do all we can to make your event happen.

Although the government want to lift all social distance restrictions from the 21st of June, it's not guaranteed. We therefore promise to move the date again free of charge should the worst case happen.

These are exciting times and we can't wait to see you all again very soon!
