The rise in corporate events

The corporate landscape has undergone a vast change in the last few years. We’ve seen a surge in the popularity of remote and hybrid working, spurred on by the pandemic, with a huge number of companies now embracing this new working model.

One unexpected change brought about by this momentous shift is the impact we’ve seen it have on the events business. Companies are now showing more and more interest in holding frequent events throughout the year. Pre COVID, events were seen more as a one-off, whereas now, organisations are holding all sorts of events year-round, either for staff, clients, or both.

Companies are choosing to do so, because these events provide an excellent opportunity to meet staff and clients in person, building bonds, growing connections, and improving morale. Where once these events were seen by budgeting managers as a luxury, they’re now an essential priority.

Companies are now pushing to create experiences for their teams, and there are few better experiences than being on the River Thames in your own privately chartered vessel, cruising through the heart of London.
