The days are stretching out, the air feels warmer, and summer is finally within reach. To celebrate, here at West End on the Thames, we’ve given our fleet a seasonal refresh. We’ve put some time into transforming each boat into a relaxed, stylish space designed for long afternoons and lively evenings on the water.

Whether you’re planning a corporate away day or a company summer event, this year’s experience has been thoughtfully curated to help you make the most of it.

A boho-chic escape

Step on board any of our boats and you’ll find a setting that feels a world away from the everyday. This season, we’ve embraced a soft, bohemian-inspired palette, blending cool blues with natural tones to create a calm and inviting atmosphere. Woven textures, warm wood finishes and dried floral details bring everything together indoors, while outside, subtle lighting from fairy lights to lanterns creates a gentle glow as the sun begins to set.

Games on deck

Of course, summer is also about letting your guard down and having a bit of fun. Across our larger vessels, the decks come to life with classic garden games, giving you and your guests a chance to unwind, compete, or simply enjoy the moment together. Games available on our larger boats include Giant Jenga, Cornhole, and Golf Putting.

On our smaller boats, we’ve included a more relaxed selection, perfect for easy entertainment as you cruise along the Thames, with games including Connect 4, Ring Toss, and classic cards.

The main event: The summer BBQ

Food is at the heart of any great gathering, and our summer BBQ remains a highlight. This year, we’ve taken it a step further by making it more interactive. Guests can watch our superb chefs in action on the outdoor deck as dishes are freshly prepared before being served inside. This adds a sense of theatre to your event, as well as flavour!

Alongside the BBQ, we’ve introduced a few new options for the season. Our Sangria and Tapas menu brings a laid-back Mediterranean feel, while the street food offering adds variety and a more casual, contemporary twist. Each menu has been designed to suit different event styles while maintaining that unmistakable summer atmosphere.

The first sip

From the moment guests step on board, the tone is set with a welcoming drink in hand. A chilled glass of Prosecco or a classic Pimms, filled with fresh fruit, offers a simple but unmistakable nod to the season and sets everything off on the right note.
